In terms of behavior, this classroom operates with a three strike policy. If you don't follow the classroom expectations, the following will occur:
- You will be given a warning. This is called Strike One. You must place a behavior stick in the pocket chart next to your name.
- If you continue to not follow the classroom expectations, you will be given Strike Two. You must place a second behavior stick in the pocket chart next to your name. This results in missing five minutes of recess.
- If you continue to not follow the classroom expectations, you will be given Strike Three. You must place a third behavior stick in the pocket chart next to your name. At the end of the day you will receive a red discipline card notice in the front of your home folder which must be signed by your parent/guardian and returned the following day. Failure to do so will result in the loss of additional classroom privileges until the signed card is returned.
Severe disruptions will result in the automatic issuance of a red discipline card. Some examples include the following:
There may be instances where a student must be removed from the classroom and sent to the school office with the recommendation that the student be strongly disciplined. Each discipline situation is unique and as a result, the consequences may change depending on the situation.

- Biting
- Pushing
- Spitting
- Inappropriate language
- Destruction of school or personal property
